Kathleen Connolly is an expert in assessing the financial performance and execution of vendor and capital expenditure contracts. Ms. Connolly’s twenty-three years of experience provides client companies with immediate insight into ROI opportunities and optimization.
Prior to joining HSI, Ms. Connolly was with Continental Cablevision and MediaOne as the Director of Contract Management Services, negotiating, managing, and assuring specific performance for their enterprise-wide IT contracts.
Ms Connolly’s career includes executive positions with Courtauld’s Textiles as Manufacturing Controller, having direct responsibility for cost containment of a US-based division, and the Selective Group Real Estate Developers as the Director of Operations Finance and Audit.
Ms. Connolly began her career in General Electric’s Financial Management Program in Schenectady, NY. Her accounting undergraduate degree was earned at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania and she holds an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
She resides in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, Patrick, and their three boys. Ms. Connolly is active in her community and church and has served on several community boards. Her outside interests include health, fitness, and Montessori educational theory.
Tim Davis has over 20 years of diverse experience with leading manufacturers serving global industrial, aerospace, and energy markets. Mr. Davis has a proven track record leading organizations to improve strategy, growth, performance, and profitability through senior leadership roles in business development, sales, operations, and general management. He has been recognized for leadership, organizational development, and for driving positive cultural change. His experiences also include successful merger and acquisition analysis, diligence, and business integration.
Prior to joining HSI, Mr. Davis was General Manager of Nova Machine Products, a Curtiss-Wright company. At Nova, he led the newly acquired organization to improved strategic position, accelerated growth into new products and markets, and improved operational and financial performance through deployment of project management and lean methodologies. Prior to that role, Mr. Davis was VP Marketing, Sales and Service for Ipsen International where he led development of new International markets and participated in restructuring actions to improve profitability.
Mr. Davis began his career at Hamilton Sundstrand, a United Technologies Company, where he held a number of progressive roles in design engineering, project management, and product line management; ultimately rising to the role of Director of Customer Service.
Mr. Davis holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and he holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University. He also has further development in Executive Leadership, Project Management, Lean & Six Sigma methods, and Negotiating Solutions.
He lives in Avon Lake, Ohio with his wife Colleen and their three sons.
Ian Hessel is a certified public accountant with extensive experience with finance, operational efficiency, mergers and acquisitions, turn-arounds and entrepreneurial ventures. Mr. Hessel launched Hessel Solutions Inc. with the simple idea to make high level talent available to clients on a variable cost basis. Mr. Hessel has served in leadership roles in several companies ranging from large, multi-national manufacturing businesses to smaller, more entrepreneurial technology development businesses. Mr. Hessel was a founding partner CK&Co, a private equity fund that grew Hilite International Inc. from a $60 million business in Texas to a $400 million global supplier to the worlds largest automotive OEMs. This process involved five acquisitions, two of which were in Europe, and two green-field start ups in Hungary and China. Prior to CK&C0., Mr. Hessel spent eight years with Arthur Andersen where he was a Senior Manager in the audit practice and was a leader in the leveraging of computer technology to enhance audit effectiveness.
Mr. Hessel sits on several boards of private companies and also serves on the advisory board for the Walker School of Business at Mercyhurst University, the Board of the Avon Lake Municpal Utilities and the Mayors’ Economic Development Advisory Board in Avon Lake, OH.
